Committees

Manage the day-to-day financial activities of the affiliate, prepare monthly/yearly reports, manage the budget; comprised of people with professional experience in legal, accounting, insurance, property management areas.
 
Responsible for securing grants, loans and contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, etc.; comprised of people interested in fundraising and donor communications/relations.
 
Cultivates Willamette West Habitat for Humanity's relationship with local faith communities.
 
Recruits, interviews, trains and coordinates volunteers to carry out Willamette West Habitat for Humanity's mission in Washington County.
 
Works with families through sweat equity, home ownership education, home purchase process, adjustment to new responsibilities and continued partnership with the organization. The committee is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating this aspect of the program.
 
Organizes and carries out application, interview, and selection processes. We find the families who fit the criteria of need for shelter, ability to make no-interest loan payments, and ability to partner with Habitat for Humanity.
 
Coordinates labor, plans, materials and family interests to build the finished product, "a simple, decent house in a decent community for God's people in need."
 
Leads efforts to acquire land for construction and manage the pre-construction phase; comprised of people with engineering, real estate, and construction planning experience.
